This week focuses on building a strong foundation. You will learn how to use aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance to get properly exposed and cinematic-looking shots. Then you will start using a gimbal to capture smooth movements that feel professional and stable. By the end of Week 1, you will already see a big difference in the quality of your videos.
This week is all about movement with purpose. You will learn how to follow people smoothly, plan shots, and create natural-looking transitions while walking. We will practice orbit shots, push-ins, reveals, and tracking movements. It will feel like you are shooting real cinematic sequences with a storyline.
Now you get into the editing world. You will learn how to import, trim, and organise your clips inside a professional editing software. We will review your Week 1 and Week 2 footage together, giving feedback on timing, angles, and storytelling. Editing will feel less scary once you see how powerful simple cuts can be.
Time to step out and shoot a real event. You will practice capturing important moments, handling pressure, and making fast decisions with your camera. You will learn how to frame people beautifully, use natural light, and shoot detail shots that bring emotion into your story. This week will be a huge confidence booster.
Great video needs great sound. This week you will learn how to record clear audio using mics during real interviews or vows. You also master gimbal balancing so you can set it up quickly on your own. Towards the end, you will shoot short scenes independently to improve your speed and creativity.
You will start editing your event footage from Week 4. Learn to build a full story using cuts, transitions, rhythm, and simple color correction. We will review your work together so you understand what makes a scene feel emotional and cinematic. This is where everything starts connecting.
This week gives you more real-world shooting experience. You will apply everything you learned earlier to capture cleaner shots, better angles, and smoother movement. You will leave this session feeling more professional and ready to shoot client projects in the future.
Your final week is about creating your own cinematic short video. You will edit your best shots from past shoots and add music, color, and storytelling to make it shine. Then we review your work together and celebrate your progress with a certificate. You end the course with a real portfolio piece you can proudly share.
